Since time out of mind, the Moon has been an object of magic and mystery, showing her forms as producing legend and lunacy among her worshippers. Every change that she makes as she travels her nightly path produces a change within the very soul. Her gravitational pull affects all in so many ways: farmers still use her cycles and the path of the stars to sow and harvest.

Each month women still feel her pull on their bodies, as the forests and oceans feel the gentle and unending pull on the life forces each day. Lovers and fighters are still afflicted by her lunacy. And she still has the power to take breath away when she hovers just above the horizon, illuminating paths, hearts, and minds.

The Moon has always held a place of particular fascination in those of earthbound lives, provoking the imagination to escape its limits and, looking outwards, moving mankind towards an understanding of their inner selves, in all their human complexity.
